Author name: Nadine Abdelkhalek
Nadine Abdelkhalek is an Egyptian landscape architect working currently at Dar Al-Handassah and a multidisciplinary artist working across illustration and painting. She graduated in 2023 from the German University in Cairo (GUC) with a Bachelor degree in Architecture and Urban Design. Her artistic practice is rooted in an expressive, memory-based exploration that merges architectural structures with organic, floral forms. Each piece reflects shifting emotional states, allowing her visual language to move between control and spontaneity. Her work has been featured in group exhibitions, including “10 Favorite Things” at Mashrabia Gallery. She was also selected as a jury member for TAM Gallery’s Egyptian Students Art Fair, contributing to the evaluation of emerging artistic voices. Alongside her artistic practice, Nadine has developed a personal brand focused on integrating paintings within interior spaces, creating works that respond to and enhance their architectural context.
